Bulut believes that despite their depleted roster, the Bluebirds can emerge victorious at Plymouth.
Despite challenges with injuries and illnesses, Erol Bulut believes that Cardiff City can enhance their Championship play-off aspirations with a victory at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday. Bulut indicated on Thursday that he will only have 15 senior players available for the match at Home Park.
The team is dealing with the absence of players such as Joe Ralls, Aaron Ramsey, and Callum O’Dowda, while Rubin Colwill and Callum Robinson are uncertain for the upcoming weekend.
Cardiff has faced setbacks with loan players Ike Ugbo and Jonathan Panzo departing this month, and despite Bulut’s repeated appeals for new signings, the team has yet to make any additions.
Nevertheless, Bulut expresses confidence that his team will strive for a win, aiming to secure only their second victory in the last six matches across all competitions. Plymouth, who earned a draw in the Welsh capital on December 26, stands as their upcoming opponent.
“We played them a few weeks ago at home. We should win that game in my opinion,” remarked Bulut.
