To salvage the three main sports seasons in Arkansas from disappointment, it’s now baseball season in Fayetteville. Similar to the basketball team, Dave Van Horn’s Razorback squad is once again recognized as a potential national title contender.
Back with the Razorbacks are two standout players, Peyton Holt and Peyton Stovall. These two shared playing time at second base in the previous season when Arkansas faced a barrage of injuries. Although Stovall’s batting average saw a decrease, he managed to hit five home runs and match his freshman RBI record at 31, despite being sidelined for 23 games.
