Brian Jean-Mary, the linebackers coach for Tennessee, is departing the Volunteers to join the coaching staff at Michigan, as reported by the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Jean-Mary held the position of linebackers coach at Tennessee from 2021 to 2023. Prior to his tenure at Tennessee, he had experience coaching linebackers at Michigan in 2020.
Following Jim Harbaugh’s departure to become the head coach for the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL, Sherrone Moore was appointed as Michigan’s head coach on January 26. Under Moore’s leadership, the Wolverines secured the College Football Playoff national championship in 2023.
