– Dillon Gabriel, Quarterback:
Senior quarterback Dillon Gabriel won’t be participating in the Alamo Bowl as he recently entered the transfer portal and joined the Oregon Ducks. He served as the starting quarterback for the Sooners and had a remarkable season, ranking fourth nationwide with an 87.4 QBR. His impressive stats include completing 266 of 384 passes (69.3% completion) for 3,660 yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and six interceptions. Additionally, he ran the ball 93 times for 373 yards and scored 12 rushing touchdowns. Gabriel previously played for the UCF Knights before transferring to the Oklahoma Sooners for the past two seasons. His overall career stats stand at 1050 completions out of 1664 attempts (63.1% completion) for 14,865 yards, 125 passing touchdowns, 26 interceptions, along with 349 rushing attempts for 1,060 yards and 26 rushing touchdowns.

– Marcus Major, Running Back:
Senior running back Marcus Major has also entered the transfer portal and won’t be part of the Alamo Bowl. Major has been a valuable asset for the Sooners, recording 78 rushing attempts for 308 yards and one rushing touchdown. He’s also contributed 12 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown reception. Throughout his five seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners, Major showcased his prowess with 194 rushing attempts for 833 yards, eight rushing touchdowns, and 23 catches for 177 yards and two touchdown receptions.

– Key Lawrence, Defensive Back:
Senior defensive back Key Lawrence, a strong player in the Sooners’ secondary, is officially out as he entered the transfer portal. This season, Lawrence displayed solid performance with 44 total tackles, including 29 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, a forced fumble, two interceptions, and three pass deflections. His career includes playing the 2020 season with Tennessee before joining Oklahoma for the past three years. Across his tenure, Lawrence amassed 156 total tackles, 94 solo tackles, 62 assisted tackles, 11 pass deflections, one sack, six forced fumbles, and three interceptions.
