BREAKING NEWS: In recent times, we’ve witnessed several ex-players like…

In recent times, we’ve witnessed several ex-players like Khalid Hill, Mike McCray, Joe Bolden, and Desmond Morgan securing coaching opportunities at the college level. Not to mention Grant Newsome, who now serves as Michigan’s offensive line coach. Even Brad Hawkins, a former safety, is set to join the coaching staff as a graduate assistant in Ann Arbor this year. However, coaching at the college level is not the sole avenue for former Wolverines.

An example is Tyree Kinnel, a former safety hailing from Ohio who ventured north for his college football career. As per his X account (formerly Twitter), Kinnel is returning to his home state of Ohio to assume the role of defensive coordinator for the Middletown Middies, a high school program situated between Dayton (Kinnel’s hometown of Huber Heights, a Dayton suburb) and Cincinnati.
