Reflecting on his journey during a podcast with his Knicks teammates, Randle revealed how LeBron James’ arrival ultimately ended his time with the Lakers.
“I was really starting to find my groove as a consistent player… I remember during that period, I was really hitting my stride… I played my heart out… I knew I was going to get a good contract. Of course, I wanted to stay with the Lakers.”
