The search for the next head coach of Lady Vols basketball has commenced, marking the second such pursuit in the team’s history.
Tennessee’s athletic director, Danny White, faces the task of selecting a replacement for Kellie Harper, who was dismissed after a five-year tenure on April 1.
An initial list of potential candidates includes 11 names: Niele Ivey from Notre Dame, Lindsay Gottlieb from USC, Jeff Walz from Louisville, Scott Rueck from Oregon State, Cori Close from UCLA, JR Payne from Colorado, Yolett McPhee-McCuin from Ole Miss, Kara Lawson from Duke, Tomekia Reed from Jackson State, Jennie Baranczyk from Oklahoma, and Shea Ralph from Vanderbilt.
