Trey Lipscomb, a former standout of the Tennessee Vols baseball team, earned a call-up to the major leagues shortly after the 2024 season began, and he’s already leaving a significant mark with the Washington Nationals.
Hailing from Maryland, Lipscomb has showcased his skills with a batting average of .265, one home run, and four stolen bases in his initial nine MLB games. Notably, during a recent game against the San Francisco Giants, Lipscomb stole three bases, including an impressive steal of home.
His standout performance against the Giants saw him secure three hits, making him the first rookie in Nationals history to achieve such a feat of three hits and three stolen bases in a single game.
