RB Rodney Hill commits to Razorbacks.
Former Florida State running back Rodney Hill has committed to Arkansas. Hill, who stands at 5-10 and weighs 190 pounds, recently spent a semester at Florida A&M after his stint at Florida State during the 2022-23 season. Currently, he is on an official visit to Arkansas accompanied by his mother.
During his time at Florida A&M, Hill did not take part in spring drills. Before his enrollment at Florida State, he attended Statesboro (Ga.) Bulloch Academy.
In the 2023 season, Hill recorded 50 rushes for 190 yards and one touchdown, along with five receptions for 83 yards. In the preceding year, 2022, he rushed 27 times for 144 yards and scored a touchdown.
Following Saturday’s spring game, sophomore running back Isaiah Augustave entered the transfer portal. Hill will be joining a running back cohort that includes Ja’Quinden Jackson, Braylen Russell, Rashod Dubinion, and Dominique Johnson.
With Hill’s commitment, Arkansas now has seven scholarships remaining for the Class of 2024. He still has two years of eligibility left to play.
