Jayden Quaintance has eliminated Arkansas from consideration.
Jayden Quaintance has decided not to join John Calipari at the Arkansas Razorbacks, according to Eric Bossi of 247 Sports. Arkansas is no longer in consideration for the former Kentucky Wildcats recruit, meaning he won’t be heading to Fayetteville for the upcoming season.
This development comes as a surprise to many, as it was widely speculated that the highly-rated 5-star center would choose Arkansas after Calipari’s appointment as head coach. Given Calipari’s successful recruitment of Quaintance in the past and Arkansas’s substantial NIL commitment, it was expected that they would be in a strong position to secure his commitment.
With Arkansas out of the picture, the focus now shifts to where Quaintance will eventually sign. He recently visited the Louisville Cardinals and had plans for an in-home visit with Mark Pope, although this visit has since been canceled. Additionally, Quaintance is scheduled to visit the Memphis Tigers this week, adding further intrigue to his recruitment process.
