Lorenzo Carter is considered a finished product, known for his effort but lacking in pass-rushing prowess.
The team’s hopes for improvement now rest largely on rookie Trice. However, it’s important to temper expectations for Trice, as rookie pass rushers typically take time to develop and may not have immediate impact. While Trice will likely contribute, relying on him as the primary pass rusher may be premature.
Given their financial constraints, the Falcons should explore other potential free agent options to bolster their young pass rush.
