John Calipari

Razorbacks coach John Calipari set to land Five-Star Forward who is Set to Visit the Hogs Needing Frontcourt Reinforcements.

Pennsylvania Native Excels in Summer Ball, Plans Visit to Razorbacks.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Another 5-star prospect is set to visit John Calipari and the Razorbacks this summer. Reports indicate that Will Riley, a 5-star small forward from Malvern, Pa., ranked as the No. 16 prospect by 247Sports Composite, will be visiting.

Riley, a 6’8″, 180-pound small forward, appears uninterested in playing college basketball in the Northeast. He plans to visit Arkansas, Alabama, and Kentucky in June, and has narrowed his choices to these three schools, along with Arizona and the National Basketball League of Australia.

Notably, Riley was not considering the Razorbacks until Calipari moved to Fayetteville last month, which isn’t surprising given Calipari’s track record of sending players to the NBA. Calipari’s former players have earned over $4 billion in the NBA, a figure likely to grow.

As a junior, Riley was one of the top offensive players in the country, averaging nearly 27 points per game for The Phelps School in Pennsylvania with almost 50% shooting and an impressive 46% from three-point range. Recently, he dominated the AAU circuit, scoring 42 points against Team Durant, shooting 15-of-16 from the field, and hitting all five three-point attempts.

If Riley continues his current performance streak, he may climb even higher in the recruiting rankings this summer.
