Baby Gronk Changes Commitment from Nebraska to Tennessee; His 5th Pledge Since May 10.
In a surprising twist, Baby Gronk has changed his mind and now plans to play college football at the University of Tennessee.
Baby Gronk, whose real name is Madden San Miguel, announced on Saturday that he flipped his commitment to the Volunteers just three days after initially committing to Nebraska.

Since listing his top 30 schools on May 2, Baby Gronk has already committed to five of them: Ohio State, Michigan, Colorado, Nebraska, and now Tennessee. All these commitments have been made since May 10.

At the current rate, Baby Gronk and his handlers could potentially announce commitments to all 134 FBS teams before the 2024 season begins.
These commitments are largely symbolic for several reasons, primarily because Baby Gronk is likely to flip his decision again soon. Additionally, at only 11 years old, he is too young to make any binding commitment to a program.
The stunt has attracted public criticism, including from Baby Gronk’s namesake, former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski has stated that things have gone “too far” and mentioned he would “cease-and-desist” Jake Miguel, Madden’s father, who has reportedly contacted him excessively.
There is no indication that Gronkowski has taken any legal action at this point.
If Baby Gronk were to keep this commitment, congratulations would be due to Vols head coach Josh Heupel for securing the first recruit of the 2031 class without any effort.
