Clemson 4-Star Wide Receiver Prospect Discusses Offer.
The Clemson Tigers remain active on the recruiting trail, focusing on extending offers for their 2026 recruiting class. Renowned for his recruiting prowess, Dabo Swinney continues to excel in this area.
Clemson is currently ranked fifth in the 2025 college football recruiting class. They hope this recruiting success will translate into on-field achievements in the coming years.
After years of being national championship contenders, Clemson has experienced two disappointing seasons and aims to rebound in 2024.
One of their top 2026 targets, wide receiver Connor Salmin, recently expressed his excitement about receiving an offer from Swinney and Clemson.
“I was speaking with Coach Swinney when I got the offer. It was very exciting. Clemson is an awesome program and Coach Swinney is an amazing coach,” Salmin said.
Salmin transitioned from running back to wide receiver in his last high school season. He mentioned the enthusiasm of Clemson’s coaching staff about his potential for improvement.
“Coach Grisham and Coach Swinney are excited about my speed, size, and hands. I’ve only played one season as a receiver, so they feel I have a lot of room to develop,” he added.
Salmin is clearly interested in Clemson and is excited about the possibility of joining their football program.
“This was my first time at Clemson, and I really liked the campus and facilities, but mostly the people were all awesome. Both the football program and staff are top-notch. I am definitely looking forward to building a relationship with the coaches and learning more about the school and the football program.”
Although this is not yet a commitment, Clemson’s chances of landing Salmin look promising. However, they face competition from schools like Georgia, Notre Dame, LSU, Penn State, and Tennessee, among others.
Clemson’s staff will remain in constant communication with Salmin, hoping to secure his commitment and add a talented wide receiver with significant potential to their 2026 class.
